The Best Picture - Ever

A sight I visit every so often is Open Road Journey. Com . They post riding routes from readers whose passion is realized when they're on a 2 lane road in the middle of nowhere. A lot of readers post photos of their rides (the journey, not the bike) and this months Best Pic is awesome!

If you follow the link above during the month of February, you'll see it. If the month has slipped by, here it is...

Now is that awesome, or what? The only credit I could find is the user's handle imprinted on the photo, so I can't tell who made it. But it's a great photo!

That's a cool looking helmet. And better yet is that landscape to ride in which I assume is not Ohio.

If it is Ohio I'm there. Actually plan to ride West into Ohio to visit some family once the weather warms a bit and wouldn't mind riding through an area like that...

Welcome to the world of motorcycle blogging! I'm honored you chose to put a link to my site. Going to have to spend some time here.

Steve: I'm guessing the photo's from somewhere out west but there were no details offered. The helmet sure is shiney. I've always been atracted to shiney objects...

Irondad: Your recent post, "Passion vs. Fatigue" hit home here. Although some of my passions lie in other areas, the ones that are the most rewarding can be the most consuming.

I forwarded a link to the extreme roadrash PDF http://teamoregon.orst.edu/to_web/Extreme_Roadrash.pdf,listed in the article to my MSF RiderCoach, Rich Wakefield. Not a day goes by I don't think about or, if I'm lucky enough to ride that day, the skills he taught.

Thanks for the comment!
