50º Not So Bad

Last night I ashamedly whined about how 50º weather felt cold to me. This morning I realize it must have only been a premonition because this is what the county awoke to this morning:

Yep, that's snow. Now, for weeks I have admired the flaming forsythia bushes blooming in the area and was reminded about the old adage, "Three snows after the forsythia blooms." But surely with the moderate temps we've been having it won't happen this year. Wrong.

This is snow number one. At least it wasn't as bad as the 9 or 10 inches that Minnesota got last week.

Welcome to spring in Ohio. 50º doesn't sound too bad right now...

50 degrees has been the good stuff for us out here in the Inland Northwest this year. It sounds like even our weatherman is getting bored with the same old forecast. We had nice weather over the weekend but I awoke to snowflakes once again this morning. Here's looking forward to the May Flowers, eh?
