Strange Things I Saw Today
  • A Goldwing rider wearing a florescent green T-shirt with a SAFETY logo on the back and NOT wearing a helmet.
  • A little red compact car with the license plate JCOOL on the back and the driver's 5 year oldish daughter in the front seat.
Things I Need To Add To My Bike
  • New front brake pads for better stopping.
  • Driving lights for better visibility.
  • A convenient way to carry my guitar.
  • A bumper sticker for the tailgaters to use as an excuse for running into me.

I hope the 5-ish year old wasn't driving?

There are just so many strange things on the road. I certainly see more while riding than driving.

A guitar certainly is a challenge. All I have to worry about is a bamboo flute.

I finally put a link to your site on my blog. Sorry for missing that. I enjoy reading Cruising Ohio and I should share the joy with others.

irondad: Nah. We start 'em driving young here in Ahia, but not quite that young.

Steve: I am torn between two loves in my life... Riding and playing. Oh yeah. Three loves when you include my wife.

Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Steve. I need to update my blog list as well...

My main instrument is a Martin D16-GTRE. I usually only need to transport it a couple miles but I'm a little hesitant to strap it on the bike.

Lance- A correction. I looked at the label for the guitar and I only had the model half right.

Its a DC-16RGTE Blender. I played a Martin knockoff for 30 years and finally decided to get the real thing about 3 or 4 years ago.

Incredible sound. Easy action. Worth every penny.
