Last August I posted a link to a story published on
Maine Today.com about what the Farmer's Almanac had to say about the upcoming winter season. The almanac said "at least two-thirds of the country can expect colder than average temperatures, with only the Far West and Southeast in line for near-normal readings."
Unfortunately, the almanac has been pretty much on target, at least for central Ohio. And today many in the area are saying, "Here we go again!"

We got a couple of inches of the white stuff on Sunday and now they're predicting another half foot or so. Arrrrghhh!

If it's any comfort to you, let it be known, we're being dumped on in the Pacific North West...Vancouver BC and we will get around 20 cm (8 inches or so) before all is said and done.
Hang in...Spring should be around the corner...!
Spring can't come soon enough and one of the first planned rides is to your neighborhood (sorta). Der Dutchman and Iron Pony are on the list...
Steady, there, Big Fella! Remember these times when it's a hundred degrees later this year! I feel your pain, though. Go sit on the bike and make motor noises!
You mean the Almanac is calling Al Gore a liar? :)
-Peace
Baron - You know misery loves company but so do good times, good roads, and good weather. I'll opt for the later.
Dave - It's been years since I dined at Der Dutchman. Some of the best home style cooking available. Makes kinda hungry just thinking about it.
Irondad - Vrooom, vrooom!
Allen - Al Gore is a politician, right? He can't help it. It's in his blood.
