It's this time of year when I start feeling sorry for those in colder climates and that happy that I'm in Singapore and have hot weather all year round. I just wish they'd do something about the wet season here, not that it stops riding of course.
Twitch - Both climes have their good points. I enjoy the change of the seasons; the first warm, sunny spring day and the falls colors. Winter gets me a little down, though. You just need to figure out a way to get the rain to fall at night!
Motoroz - I've got friends near you (Cedar Hill) and a few more scattered between Austin and Abilene that like to remind me of how much milder the winters are. I think I could become a citizen of the Republic of Texas someday...
Interstate highways allow you to drive coast to coast, without seeing anything.

Welcome!
Sharing the experiences of our adventures on the open roads of Ohio, the secondary, seldom traveled, scenic byways and destinations. Stories - some small, some tall - about riding (and living) in Ohio, from pleasure trips to the daily commute.
Enjoy the stay. Let's swap some tales and share some pics.

No problem here, Cool and average precipitation. Just like normal . Maybe you should move to the blue zone ?

Bob - That's another place I'd like to check out before I check out. That and Winslow, AZ. :-)
Hopefully you will get a few more days of riding in. If you need a ride just come to Texas for a while. It does not get too cold for too long.

I hate the rain here, but at least it's not snow! Mostly. We're supposed to have snow tonight.
Dan - Rain better than snow anytime.
BTW, you were absolutely right about grandchildren. Loving every minute!
